The Queen Crest created by Freddie Mercury

The first slipmat features the famous Queen Crest in gold against a black background. Freddie Mercury, who studied art and graphic design, created the emblem using imagery inspired in part by the zodiac signs of the four band members.

It features two lions for Roger Taylor and John Deacon, both Leos, a crab for Brian May, a Cancer, and two fairy figures for Freddie Mercury, a Virgo. A large phoenix with outstretched wings crowns the design.
