This black Queen wallet features the famous Queen Crest, accompanied by the band's name in large red lettering. Lions, a crab, fairies, a crown and a phoenix make up this highly detailed emblem, which dates back to Queen's early years.

The Queen Crest, designed by Freddie Mercury

The Queen Crest was created by Freddie Mercury in the early 1970s. Before becoming Queen's frontman, Freddie had studied art and graphic design at Ealing College of Art. The crest appeared on the back cover of the band's debut album Queen in 1973 and subsequently became a recurring part of their visual identity.

Freddie based the crest around the zodiac signs of Queen's four members: two lions for John Deacon and Roger Taylor, a crab for Brian May and two fairies for Freddie Mercury, a Virgo. Above them is a large phoenix, with the composition arranged around a crown positioned inside the letter “Q”.

A historic Queen emblem

The wallet reproduces the Queen Crest in colour against an entirely black background. The large red QUEEN lettering beneath the crest echoes the red details within the emblem, while contrasting stitching remains visible around the edges.

Measuring a compact 11 × 10 × 1 cm, it brings one of Queen's earliest graphic symbols, conceived by Freddie Mercury himself, to an everyday accessory. 👑
