Official Queen 1" 5 Badge Set [70s Albums]

Queen II – A Night at the Opera – A Day at the Races – News of the World – Jazz

Five albums from Queen's classic 1970s era 👑

This official Queen 5-button badge set brings together five major albums from 1974 to 1978, from the ambitious Queen II to the eclectic Jazz. Each 1" (25mm) badge features artwork directly associated with one of these albums.

Queen II (1974) features Mick Rock's famous photograph of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon emerging from the darkness. The album cover image was recreated the following year for the now-iconic Bohemian Rhapsody video.

A Night at the Opera (1975) and A Day at the Races (1976) feature two variations on the Queen Crest designed by Freddie Mercury. The two albums are closely linked even through their titles, both borrowed from Marx Brothers films.

The News of the World (1977) badge features the robot from the famous album cover adapted from an illustration by American artist Frank Kelly Freas. Finally, Jazz (1978) completes the set with the distinctive circular design from its cover artwork.

From Queen II to Jazz, these five badges cover the era that produced Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions and Don't Stop Me Now.
