Official The Rolling Stones 1" 5 Badge Set [Tours]

Established 1962 – Steel Wheels 1989 – Tour 1978 – North American Tour 1981 – World Tour 1972

Decades of Rolling Stones tours

This official The Rolling Stones 5-button badge set spans several periods in the band's history, from their formation in 1962 to the major tours of the 1970s and 1980s and the Steel Wheels era. Five 1" (25mm) badges featuring different variations of the famous Tongue & Lips.

The “Established 1962” badge marks the year The Rolling Stones formed in London. Alongside it, the red and blue 1989 design comes from the Steel Wheels era, when the Stones returned to the road after several years without touring.

In the centre, the “Rolling Stones Tour 1978” badge refers to the US tour that followed the release of Some Girls. Released in June 1978, the album includes tracks such as Miss You, Beast of Burden and Shattered.

The final two badges look back at two other major tours: the 1981 North American Tour, represented here by a Union Jack design, and the 1972 World Tour, with its dice and “STONES 72 WORLD TOUR” lettering. The 1972 tour followed the release of Exile on Main St., one of the key albums in the Stones' catalogue.
