Released on 11 July 1994, Voodoo Lounge was the Rolling Stones' first studio album since Steel Wheels, five years earlier. It was also their first studio album following bassist Bill Wyman's departure and their first under their new agreement with Virgin Records.

Produced by Don Was and the Glimmer Twins, the album largely returned to the band's rock and blues roots. It includes Love Is Strong, You Got Me Rocking, Out of Tears and I Go Wild. In 1995, Voodoo Lounge won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.

🐆 The cover's “Voodoo Man”

The puzzle reproduces the famous sleeve created under the art direction of Mark Norton. At its centre is the strange character generally known as the “Voodoo Man”: a stylised figure with raised arms, wearing a yellow, black-spotted suit against a grainy black-and-white background.

With its deliberately rough drawing style and striking yellow, black, white and red palette, the artwork became the visual identity of the Voodoo Lounge era and the huge world tour that followed the album.
