Rolling Stones Wallet – Sticky Fingers

This Rolling Stones wallet features one of the most famous and provocative album covers in rock history: Sticky Fingers, released in 1971. A close-up of a pair of jeans, belt and central zipper created an image that became instantly associated with the Stones and this period of the band's history. 🎸

The Andy Warhol cover

The concept for the Sticky Fingers sleeve was created by Andy Warhol. On the original vinyl edition, the zipper was not simply part of the printed artwork: a real metal zip was built into the sleeve and could actually be opened.

The photograph was taken by Billy Name, with the final packaging developed by Craig Braun. Contrary to a long-standing assumption, the man pictured was not Mick Jagger; his exact identity has never been established with certainty.

A landmark Rolling Stones album

Released in April 1971, Sticky Fingers also marked an important moment in the Rolling Stones' visual history: it was the first of their albums to feature the now-famous Tongue and Lips logo, designed by John Pasche.

The album includes tracks such as Brown Sugar, Wild Horses and Can't You Hear Me Knocking. This wallet reproduces the distinctive cover image together with the red “The Rolling Stones” and “Sticky Fingers” labels.
