Postcard Pink Floyd

This powerful shot captures David Gilmour and saxophonist Dick Parry during the legendary Delicate Sound of Thunder tour (1988–1989) 🎷. With its iconic orange lighting and Gilmour’s longer hair, it’s unmistakably from the A Momentary Lapse of Reason era — a period of reinvention and atmospheric live magic for Pink Floyd.

Gilmour’s focused presence on the Stratocaster meets Parry’s soaring saxophone lines, creating an emotionally charged moment on stage. This image is a snapshot of the band's late-'80s identity — cinematic, intense, and sonically rich.
