The famous Beatles logo

The design features the historic The Beatles logo, instantly recognisable by the oversized “T” extending below the other letters.

The logo dates back to 1963, when Ringo Starr ordered a new Ludwig drum kit from London's Drum City. Shop owner Ivor Arbiter sketched the band's name for the bass drum head before sign painter Eddie Stokes produced the final lettering.

The resulting “drop-T logo” went on to become one of the most famous graphic signatures associated with The Beatles.
