🧠 This official Iron Maiden sew-on patch reproduces the famous artwork from Piece of Mind, the band's fourth studio album, released in 1983. Derek Riggs depicts a bald Eddie imprisoned inside a padded cell and restrained by heavy chains fastened around his neck.

Wearing a torn straitjacket, with his mouth wide open and eyes rolled back, Eddie adopts an almost animal-like posture, as though he were attempting to break free and leap out of the artwork. The yellow tones of the padded walls contrast with the colder shades of his face and clothing, intensifying this now-iconic scene.

For Piece of Mind, Eddie leaves behind the urban settings of the first albums and appears imprisoned inside a padded cell. His bald head, sealed with a metal plate, torn straitjacket and heavy chains create one of the mascot's most memorable appearances.
