Official John Lennon – Give Peace a Chance T-shirt
A message forever associated with John Lennon ✌️ This official Give Peace a Chance T-shirt combines the title of the 1969 song with a large hand-drawn graphic, printed in different shades of blue against a navy background.
The words Give Peace a Chance are repeated five times across the artwork, while the John Lennon signature is also printed on the sleeve.
Give Peace a Chance: Montreal, June 1, 1969
Give Peace a Chance was recorded on June 1, 1969 during John Lennon and Yoko Ono's famous Bed-In for Peace at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. Lennon turned room 1742 into an improvised recording studio, surrounded by numerous guests.
Released a few weeks later under the Plastic Ono Band name, the song became one of the tracks most closely associated with Lennon's peace activism.
A design built around the message
The artwork uses the repeated Give Peace a Chance phrase in handwritten lettering, printed in white and several shades of blue. A large linear graphic fills the background, while John Lennon's signature on the sleeve adds another distinctive detail.
