This official Ozzy Osbourne football shirt goes straight back to the early years of his solo career. Built around black, red and yellow, its design combines references to Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman and Speak of the Devil, with a huge number 80 on the back.

Ozzy Osbourne, football style

Across the chest, the Ozzy Osbourne name takes the place of a traditional football sponsor in a large yellow and red design. The artwork uses the logo associated with Ozzy's early-'80s era, notably seen on Diary of a Madman, released in 1981.

The black fabric features subtle dark tone-on-tone graphics, while red sleeve trim echoes the outline of the main logo.

A crest inspired by Speak of the Devil

Instead of a football club badge, the shirt features a specially designed embroidered Ozzy crest. It combines his name with a portrait taken directly from the visual world of Speak of the Devil, the live album released in 1982.

Presented as a genuine football-style shield with a yellow border, it is one of the most detailed elements of the shirt.

80: the beginning of Ozzy's solo career

The huge yellow and red number 80 printed across the back refers to 1980, the year Blizzard of Ozz, Ozzy Osbourne's debut solo album, was released.

It is a particularly neat detail for a football shirt: a key date in Ozzy's career becomes his squad number.

And, of course… bats

Look closely at the fabric and bats can be spotted within the shirt's subtle black-on-black graphics. Another small bat also appears at the bottom of each digit of the number 80.

The imagery has been inseparable from Ozzy since the infamous Des Moines concert in January 1982, when he bit into a bat on stage believing it was fake before discovering that it was real.

Manufactured by WA Sport, the shirt is made from 100% polyester Dry fabric. The large Ozzy Osbourne logo is sublimated into the design and the chest crest is embroidered.

An official label near the hem completes the shirt and confirms its licensed status.
