The Who in 1981: a new era

In 1981, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Kenney Jones returned to the road for an extensive series of UK concerts. Former Small Faces and Faces drummer Kenney Jones had joined The Who following the death of Keith Moon in 1978.

The tour coincided with Face Dances, released in March 1981 and the first Who studio album recorded without Keith Moon. The album includes You Better You Bet, one of the band's best-known songs from this period.
