Motörhead – Orgasmatron 500-Piece Puzzle
Orgasmatron is the seventh studio album by Motörhead, released in August 1986. Arriving three years after Another Perfect Day, it opened a new chapter for the band and introduced the line-up of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Pete Gill.
This 500-piece Motörhead puzzle recreates the spectacular Orgasmatron cover by Joe Petagno, the artist who created Motörhead's famous War-Pig / Snaggletooth mascot. 🧩
Orgasmatron: Motörhead in 1986
The album followed several turbulent years and numerous line-up changes. It was also the first full Motörhead studio album recorded with two guitarists, Phil Campbell and Würzel.
The title track, Orgasmatron, closes the album with Lemmy's lyrics addressing mechanisms of power and domination. It became one of the band's enduring songs and was notably covered by Sepultura a few years later.
Joe Petagno's Infernal Train
For the cover, Joe Petagno transformed familiar Motörhead imagery into a huge armoured locomotive. A mechanical creature inspired by the War-Pig emerges from the front, mouth open and teeth exposed, surrounded by guns, armour and machinery.
Did you know? Joe Petagno had originally created the War-Pig for Motörhead's debut album in 1977. He repeatedly reinvented the mascot across later releases: on Orgasmatron, it is no longer simply an emblem but becomes part of the machine itself.
Made by Zee Productions for the Rock Saws collection, this officially licensed puzzle recreates the Orgasmatron artwork in 500 pieces.
