Released on 29 July 1997, Official Live: 101 Proof features performances recorded between 1994 and 1997 during the Far Beyond Driven and The Great Southern Trendkill tours. Alongside live versions of classics such as Cowboys from Hell, Walk, Fucking Hostile, Domination and I'm Broken, the album also includes two brand-new studio tracks: Where You Come From and I Can't Hide.

Many fans regard it as the definitive document of Pantera's classic line-up featuring Phil Anselmo, Dimebag Darrell, Rex Brown and Vinnie Paul.
