Original official Chris Rea programme from the 1990 The Road to Hell tour, following the release of his hugely successful 1989 album of the same name. A striking period collectable presented in an unusual large square format.

The Road to Hell era

Released in 1989, The Road to Hell became one of the defining albums of Chris Rea's career. Featuring the classic The Road to Hell (Part 2), the album brought Rea major international success and established him as one of the distinctive voices and guitarists of late-'80s British rock.

The accompanying tour took place in 1990, with dates across Europe including major venues such as London's Wembley Arena and Le Zénith in Paris.

An unusually elaborate tour programme

Far more than a conventional concert booklet, the programme features a distinctive embossed, die-cut fold-out cover. Its minimalist white design opens around a central window revealing part of the artwork beneath.

Inside, photographs and artwork are combined with printed overlay pages, giving the programme its distinctive visual presentation. A central double-page spread also lists European tour dates and tour crew information.
