The Christians on the rise

Formed in Liverpool, The Christians emerged in the late 1980s with their distinctive blend of pop, soul and rich vocal harmonies. Their self-titled debut album, The Christians, was released in 1987 and quickly established the band as one of the notable British acts of the period.

The album included Forgotten Town, Hooverville, When the Fingers Point and Ideal World. Their success continued into 1988 with Born Again, which gave its name to this UK tour.

Born Again UK Tour 88

The Born Again UK Tour 88 took the band across the UK during the spring of 1988. This programme is an original souvenir from that early and highly successful period of The Christians' career, illustrated throughout with photographs of the band.
