High Voltage Rock N’ Roll

The first slipmat features the red and yellow AC/DC logo inside a circular emblem with the words “High Voltage Rock N’ Roll” and “Australia • Est. 1973”.

The design references the band’s early years and High Voltage. Following the original Australian album released in 1975, AC/DC released the international version of High Voltage in 1976, compiled from tracks originally appearing on the Australian High Voltage and T.N.T. albums. It includes tracks such as It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ’n’ Roll), The Jack and T.N.T..

For Those About to Rock: the AC/DC cannon

The second slipmat has a black and white design featuring the AC/DC logo, a cannon and the words “For Those About to Rock”. It references For Those About to Rock (We Salute You), released in 1981 following the huge success of Back in Black.

The cannon became closely associated with the title track. AC/DC famously uses cannon blasts on stage during performances of For Those About to Rock (We Salute You), creating one of the band’s most recognisable live effects. 💥
