This Slayer – Repentless flag features artwork associated with the band's twelfth and final studio album, released in 2015. Against a black background, the Slayer logo sits above a dark composition of red, brown and metallic tones, centred around a tormented depiction of Christ surrounded by religious and warlike imagery.

The design comes directly from the Repentless artwork created by Brazilian artist Marcelo Vasco. Its detailed imagery continues the provocative religious visual themes that appeared throughout Slayer's career.

Repentless, Slayer's Final Studio Album

Released in September 2015, Repentless is Slayer's twelfth and final studio album. It arrived two years after the death of founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman in 2013.

The album was recorded with Tom Araya, Kerry King, Paul Bostaph and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt, who had already been performing live with Slayer since 2011. Tracks include Repentless, When the Stillness Comes and Pride in Prejudice.

Marcelo Vasco created the Repentless artwork from a concept developed with the band. The composition combines religious and macabre imagery around a central Christ figure, framed by elements drawing on heraldic and military iconography.

The result gave Repentless an instantly recognisable visual identity and became the artwork for Slayer's final studio album. 🤘
