Badge Soulfly - Debut Album (1998)

This 3 cm round badge pays tribute to Soulfly’s self-titled debut album, released in 1998. Set against a hazy horizon, the iconic silhouette of Max Cavalera with outstretched arms symbolises both spirituality and the explosive force carried by this foundational release. The Soulfly logo crowns the scene with its instantly recognisable tribal style.

Iconic design for a milestone record

Soulfly was Max Cavalera’s first release after leaving Sepultura, and it shook the metal world. Merging groove metal, tribal rhythms, nu-metal energy and world music influences, the album features powerful tracks like "Eye for an Eye", "Tribe", "Bleed" (featuring Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst), and "Bumbklaatt". The badge design reflects the album’s themes of rebirth and raw emotion, showing a lone figure embracing the light ahead.
