Bannière Heilung

Power / Symphonic Metal

Heilung is an experimental collective from Denmark, formed in 2014 by Kai Uwe Faust, Christopher Juul and Maria Franz. The group defines its sound as “amplified history”: ritual compositions inspired by Nordic and Germanic cultures and traditions from the Iron Age and early Middle Ages.

By blending traditional instruments (skin drums, bones, horns) with modern technology, Heilung immerses its audience in a hypnotic experience where music, poetry and ritual merge. Their first album, Ofnir (2015), followed by Futha (2019) and Drif (2022), captivated a worldwide audience, supported by performances that feel more like shamanic ceremonies than conventional concerts.

Their spectacular shows, featuring body paint, tribal costumes and guttural chants, transcend the idea of a concert to become a total immersion in living mythology. Heilung gathers thousands of spectators around the world, proving that the power of ritual and trance remains as strong as ever.
