Alternative Metal

DevilDriver are an American groove metal band founded in 2002 by Dez Fafara, former frontman of Coal Chamber. Based in California, the band quickly stood out with crushing rhythms, powerful riffs and relentless vocals.

Their self-titled debut (2003) set the tone — raw, aggressive, uncompromising. Albums like The Fury of Our Maker’s Hand (2005) and Beast (2011) solidified their reputation across the alternative metal scene, blending groove, darkness and precision.

With the double album Dealing With Demons (2020–2023), DevilDriver dove deeper into inner turmoil and personal reflection, without losing their trademark intensity or the crushing weight of true metal.
